O Grammy 2023 anunciou os vencedores da edição de 2023 neste domingo (5), em Los Angeles.
Beyoncé se tornou a maior vencedora do Grammy de todos os tempos. Ela chegou a 32 prêmios e superou a marca anterior de 31 Grammys do maestro Georg Solti. Porém, ela não ganhou nas categorias principais neste ano. Elas foram bem divididas. Harry Styles levou álbum do ano. Lizzo ficou com gravação do ano, e Bonnie Raitt, música do ano.
Anitta estava indicada a artista revelação, mas não ganhou. O prêmio ficou com a cantora de jazz norte-americana Samara Joy.
Beyoncé ganhou em 2023 os prêmios de melhor álbum de dance/eletrônica com “Renaissance”, melhor gravação dance/eletrônica, com “Break my soul”, melhor performance r&b tradicional, com “Plastic off the sofa” e melhor canção r&b, com “Cuff it”.
Ao ganhar o quarto prêmio, que a tornou recordista, ela agradeceu ao seu falecido tio Johnny e à comunidade queer, que inspiraram o álbum “Renaissance”, aos pais, ao marido, Jay-Z e aos três filhos.
Os brasileiros Erasmo Carlos e Gal Costa foram lembrados no segmento de homenagens do prêmio a músicos que morreram no último ano, que também teve Jeff Beck, David Crosby, Takeoff e outros.
O grupo brasileiro Boca Livre ganhou o prêmio de melhor álbum de pop latino, com “Pasieros”, ao lado de Ruben Bladés.
Kim Petras foi a primeira artista trans a ganhar o prêmio de “Performance pop e duo/grupo”, por “Unholy”, com Sam Smith.
